BELIEVE IN MIRACLES
In 2000 when I was going through
the journey of healing from breast cancer, my friend Patti gave
me a small pillow with the words "Believe in Miracles" embroidered
on it. Ever since, I have kept this pillow on my bed so that I
can be reminded of the message every day.
I know for a fact that I
have experienced miracles in my life. Among them are the wonderful
friends who are part of my life -
friends who are both a blessing and inspiration for me. And,
if I pay attention, little miracles seem to happen almost everyday.
I also know that there are
probably many would-be miracles that I was too busy to recognize
and be grateful for.
During this holiday season,
let's all take some time to reflect on all the good in our lives
and to accept the challenges.
Let's offer our gratitude to our spiritual source and allow
Joy to
fill our hearts and our Light to shine on those around us.
Say after me, "I BELIEVE
IN MIRACLES!"

RAVENCHASE
If you read the FACES & PLACES
section this month, you read about Ravenchase
Adventures. Ravenchase
came to New Hope last weekend and
I participated in the "chase." It involves solving ciphers
and puzzles to get to a final destination - racing against teams
to see who can come in first. (Like Amazing Race meets the Da Vinci
code) Since I went to the chase by myself, I was paired up with
Geoffrey Wyncoop,
a long
time Ravenchase
fan
and very knowledgeable of the ciphers necessary to solve many of
the clues.
I must say I had a great
time. It was VERY cold that day but solving the puzzles was challenging
and fun. We didn't come
in first but
we weren't last either. I will definitely try this again and
hope to see some of YOU next time around.
Thank you Ravenchase (and
Geoffrey)!

SLEEP
UP-DATE
I forgot to say something
about the newsletter in which I announced that I was having problems
sleeping. (That particular newsletter was written in the wee hours
of the AM!)
Well, there sure are a lot
of compassionate people out there! I received about half a dozen
email responses from concerned readers
who offered their own sleep remedies. Thank you folks! I appreciate
your concern and feedback.
Lately, I don't have many
sleepless nights unless I choose to stay up to get some work done.
I have noticed thought that less stress
seems to equate to better sleep! ______________
